Schools have a structured system for recording students' attendance on a daily basis. In some institutions, attendance is marked according to different periods or class periods throughout the day. This is done to accommodate the fact that students often have different subjects or classes scheduled at different times during the day. By tracking attendance period-wise, schools can accurately monitor students' presence and participation in each specific class. This approach ensures that students' attendance is properly recorded and accounted for in relation to their various subjects or classes throughout the day.
You must first enable period-wise attendance in your settings before you can start taking attendance. Kindly navigate to Settings → General → Attendance Type → Change according to your requirements.
Once the settings are changed, you can navigate to LMS → Attendance → Period Wise Attendance → Search with the help of relevant filters → Mark the attendance → Save.
